Where we stand

Our concerns, set out plainly and with care.

Five enduring areas where we seek the good of our neighbours and the health of our common life. We hold these convictions warmly, and we express them with respect for all.

Christianity & culture

We commend the Christian story as genuinely good news — for individuals, families and the nation's shared life. We believe a society shaped by grace, truth and service is a more generous and humane place for everyone.

  • We celebrate the positive contribution of Christian faith to Australian history and community.
  • We encourage thoughtful, charitable Christian participation in public conversation.
  • We support a culture that makes room for faith rather than pushing it to the margins.

Marriage & family

We uphold marriage between a man and a woman as a lasting, life-giving union and a steady foundation for family and community. We honour the home as the first place where love, security and character are formed.

  • We affirm faithful, lifelong marriage as a great good worth supporting.
  • We value the unique gift that mothers and fathers bring to children.
  • We back policies that strengthen families and ease the pressures they face.

Human life & dignity

We defend the dignity of every human life, from conception to natural death. We believe each person is precious, and we seek a society that protects the vulnerable and surrounds those who suffer with genuine care.

  • We affirm the worth of every life, especially the unborn, the frail and the elderly.
  • We champion compassionate care, support and palliative options over despair.
  • We stand with mothers, families and carers facing difficult circumstances.

Family & parenthood

We support parents in their first responsibility — to raise, protect and form the next generation. We believe children flourish when parents are trusted, equipped and free to guide their upbringing.

  • We affirm the primary role of parents in the care and formation of their children.
  • We support age-appropriate, parent-respecting approaches in education and media.
  • We encourage communities and churches that help families thrive.

Government, freedom & society

We champion religious freedom, freedom of speech and freedom of conscience as cornerstones of a free society. We support just, accountable government that serves the common good and respects the people it represents.

  • We defend the freedom to hold, practise and share one's faith peacefully.
  • We uphold open, civil debate and the right to speak according to conscience.
  • We encourage citizens to engage constructively with their representatives.
